Summer Magic : Reloaded

Jai Guru Dev,

I attended a very special YES!+ event in Art of Lving Bangalore ashram, 10 days in presence of the Master. It was the inaugural Summer Magic. Words will not suffice to convey the experience so i better not try. It consisted of a YES!+ advanced course of more than 2000 energetic naughty yet innocent youth. Avinash Bhaiiya and Virat Bhaiyya (Mumbai) did a fantastic job to keep such a huge crowd under discipline.

To keep the entertainment quotient high, a musical drama, Anandam and Beniaffer was staged, in which our directors Bawa and Dinesh also took part. Some workshops like introduction to classical Indian dance, self defence karate techniques, talk by CEO of Educomp ("a ridiculously rich company" as Bawa said) to motivate budding entrepreneurs, "Its a small world" by the head of Sumeru Software. Did I tell you that we danced to the tune of Zoobi Doobie (3 idiots) in morning sadhna ?

This was a perfect platform to introduce YES!+ people with other dynamic people working in Art of Living. What inspired me were two speakers. First was Jigesh Bhai, an extremely humorous person who's work involves teaching courses to naxalities in remote villages. His Guru stories and self devised bhajans rocked VM ("mazza mazza mazza...kitna karega mazza"). I have to admit that my feet just could not stop and vibrations inside were more charming than it would have been in a satsang.

But what impressed me the most was Amol Bhaiyya, a yuvacharya (YLTP graduate). Just through a simple presentation he convinced those 2000 naughty youths that most of the problems our country faces, originate from villages. He played an instrumental role in setting up the first ever Sri Sri Model Village - Kapshi in Maharashtra. At the end of the talk he was surrounded by a big crowd demanding his telephone number and ready to work with him. This is the measure of impact of his talk and the grace he carries.

What I will remember of Summer magic is that during my stay at ashram, I met Guruji everyday. Thus I went back to my other home fully content and satisfied.
